Good Morning Prior Lake Rotarians!

There are two big points of emphasis this week in our club:

WEDNESDAY’S MEETING: We will NOT be at The Wilds this week for breakfast.  Rather, we’ll be having our Lakefront Music Fest BIG SPLASH at the Meadows Grille at Mystic Lake on Wednesday morning.  Please come, as this is the day that we publicly roll out some of the plans for the Music Fest.  Bring a guest too…it will be an energetic meeting!  RSVP to rsvp@mcfarlandcahill.com

SILENT AUCTION ITEMS DUE: Please make sure all of your Valentine’s Gala Silent Auction items are turned in by THIS WEDNESDAY.  If you don’t have the item yet, that’s ok…make sure to turn in the Auction form so we can keep track of what is what.  PLEASE GET YOUR ITEMS IN!

LAST WEEK’S MEETING: We had 37 Rotarians at our meeting last week, and were treated to a presentation by Kevin Burkhart about his quest to make 300 skydives in one day to raise awareness and money for Parkinson’s Disease.  For more information about this great event, go to www.perfectjump.com

COMMUNITY SERVICE MEETING THIS WEEK: If you’re a member of the Community Service Committee, please plan to stay after this week’s meeting for a brief meeting regarding a few funding requests.

DARE GRADUATION LAST WEEK: Several Rotarians showed up at Grainwood on Thursday to help celebrate the graduates of DARE in the 5^th grade classrooms at St. Michaels, Grainwood and Westwood. 

VALENTINE’S GALA IS LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY: As mentioned earlier, make sure you are getting your auction items turned in this week.  Also, make the last push for tickets as well!  This is a major fundraiser for our club’s annual charitable budget, and it’s up to all of our members to pitch in and help us be successful.
