Jon Kaufman joined Rotary about 8 years ago to disrupt the way global water is done. Establishing his project, H2OpenDoors, Jon’s band of 80 “water warriors’ have installed 33 purification plants in 11 countries, including 3 in Guatemala this January. Over 500 Rotarians and friends have joined him on H2OpenDoors expeditions that combine Soulful Service with adventure. 

 

Jon is a charter member of the Rotary Club of Peninsula Starlight in the SF Bay Area. He is a major Donor to the Rotary Foundation, and has a Donor Advised Fund at DRF exclusively for the expense needs for the project. Last year he spoke at the Vatican on the UN Sustainability Goals, and has received numerous awards for public service.
