Recently, Scott County Sheriff Luke Hennen and Inspector Max Kes were our program and spoke about the drone that was purchased through collaborative donations of Shakopee Rotary Club, New Prague Rotary Club, Rotary Club of Savage, Belle Plaine Rotary Club, and Prior Lake Rotary Club. Those funds were then matched through a District Grant, resulting in a combined donation of $15,768. This underscores how The Rotary Foundation grant model works to do good in the world as this project will improve public safety and community well-being throughout Scott County’s 8 cities, 10 townships, and the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community.
