At the Wednesday, December 4th meeting of the Prior Lake Rotary Club, several members were recognized for their efforts in contributing to The Rotary Foundation.

Each year, Rotarians are encouraged to make contributions to The Rotary Foundation, which helps provide the financial resources for Rotarians to do all of the good work they do throughout the year.  As Rotarians give more to The Foundation, they are recognized in different ways for their contributions.  The most common way that Rotarians are recognized is by being awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship.  Named after the founder of Rotary International, a Paul Harris Fellowship is given to Rotarians as they give $1,000 in cumulative contributions to The Rotary Foundation, and then for each $1,000 increment.

On Wednesday, Club Foundation Chair recognized Mary Selinske for her Paul Harris Fellow +1, which means it is Mary's second Paul Harris Fellow.
