The 2013 Lakefront Music Fest Official Kickoff!

The 2013 Lakefront MusicFest is now official!  The kickoff meeting was held at the Meadows Bar and Grill at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel yesterday.  In addition to the regular weekly Rotary meeting, this meeting was the official start of this years Lakefront MusicFest.  In attendance were our non-profit partners (Laker Athletic Booster Club, Patron of the Arts & Activities, and the Twin Cities Greater YMCA), our presenting partner (Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community), our media partner (Beddhead), our grand prize raffle provider (New Prague Auto Group), as well as our Rotary Club committee chairs and Rotary members.  This year, like we did last year, we will have a two night format.  On classic rock nght (Friday July 19) we'll have Bret Michaels as the headliner, along with Firehouse and Warrant.  On country night (Saturday July 20) the headliner will be Montgomery Gentry along with Casey James.  Other acts are yet to be announced.  Tickets will be only $20 in advance - and one ticket gets you in for both nights!  Check out the website at:  www.lakefrontmusicfest.com!
