Today's Speaker: Cathy Smith of Fast for Hope

The speaker at today's meeting was Cathy Smith of Fast for Hope.  She talked about the Nicaragua Initiative to eradicate poverty.  Club members are asked to forego a meal in recognition of those who have less.  Each club requests $10 from each member, with the proceeds donated to the Fast for Hope initiative.  District 5960 averages $39,000 for poverty eradication efforts.
