Thank you for your interest, we hope that you can join us!

This is the 3rd year that the Rotary Club of Prior Lake has sponsored this Ethics Workshop specifically designed for PLSAS Juniors and Seniors which was developed by University of St. Thomas Professor, Dr. Jason Skirry.  For teh 2019/2020 school year, we are again proud to be partnering with teh students and faculty at MNCAPS.  This workshop will be a one-day "retreat" focused on these areas:

  • Importance of identifying and building awareness around your moral character (i.e. Who you are and who you want to be)

  • The human psychology including the barriers that can block us from making good decisions

  • A fundamental framework for analyzing and thinking through ethical dilemmas

  • Practice applying that framework to create transparency into the available courses of action and assist in identifying the best path forward, when faced with an ethical dilemma

There is no cost to attend and attendance is limited based on available seating (roughly 75 students).  Breakfast and lunch will be provided by the Prior Lake Rotary Club and our local business partners.  Although school faculty are in support of this workshop, students are expected to make proper arrangements with their other classes to be out of school that day.  Finding transportation to and from the workshop is the responsibility of the students.
