Mission Statement
The mission of the Rotary Club of Prior Lake is to enhance the quality of life for the residents of the Prior Lake area and people throughout the world.
The Prior Lake Rotary Foundation (PLRF) supports the educational, humanitarian, and environmental activities of the Prior Lake Rotary Club in the Prior Lake community, nationally, and worldwide.
As a 501c3 charitable organization, the PLRF is the fiscal sponsor of Prior Lake Rotary’s Lakefront Music Fest. All income and expenses of the Music Fest are run through the Foundation, and all profits are retained within the Foundation. The Foundation’s Board of Directors has fiduciary responsibility over these funds and allocates amounts for different charitable purposes. The Foundation’s Board and the Prior Lake Rotary Club’s Board work closely together to ensure that every charitable expenditure fits with the PLRF mission.
Outside donations are allowed into the Prior Lake Rotary Foundation, and they include corporate sponsorships for the Lakefront Music Fest and personal/private donations.
